AR Flashcards – Space

Posted by on Aug 9, 2013 in News

Here at Mitchlehan Media we are trying out new ways to use Augmented Reality to help young kids stay engaged while learning.  Our follow up app to Animal Alphabet is going to center around Space.  We are starting with the Planets in this app but calling the app Space so that we can add future content down the road outside just our own Solar System.  As kids we were amazed and enthralled with the possibilities of what lies in space.  We think that having flash cards augmented with computer wizardry to help young children learn is exciting!

We aren’t stopping with Space.  We have three apps with different topics currently in development and we are excited to get them out there!  Here are a couple of pics from Space.

  1. Brilliant implementation of a simple idea. AR is most definitely the new frontier in education. I’m totally thrilled by your work.

    • Thanks for the kind words! We really appreciate it!

  2. When will the Planet Flashcards be available?

    • Thanks for commenting! We are wrapping up the testing phase and should hopefully have it out by the end of September.
