It's a transparent look at where we are at in downloads, subscriptions and road map. Also, sneak peeks at the new content coming to AR Flashcards because we hit our first sub goal. AR Flashcards 3.1.1 is now live for iOS. This update brings UI fixes and fixes to Ground Plane. We went back though and repositioned and adjusted the scale on all the animals in Ground Plane. We also redesigned the launch screen and membership screen. You can also try your first month FREE when you sign up for our membership service. Alphabet, Shapes/Colors, Addition, Planets and Apollo 11 and Abraham Lincoln. Alphabet Module AR Flashcards contains 26 alphabet flash cards that engage young learners and teach them letter identification. Our Alphabet module contains 26 animal models that when you tap them on the screen will say the letter and animal name. AR Flashcards Alphabet was the first thing we created way back in 2012! This module is entirely free. Create Module In our create module, educators and young learners alike can create their own flash cards or drawings to augment with any of our 26 animals. In November we are adding all of our planets and shapes/colors to this module as well. This November update is brought to you by our members and you can see more of what we want to build in the future on our road map. The animals are free, planets and shapes/colors are part of our membership program. Ground Plane Module In our ground plane module, you can place life sized animals on the ground, walk around them in 360 and you can have students pose with them! In our November update we are adding letters, planets and shapes/colors to this module. The first 5 letters of the alphabet is free. The rest is part of our membership program. Space Module In our Space module, we teach the solar system with 12 cards that cover all 8 planets and 2 dwarf planets. Each planet has an audio fact and also text based facts. You can tap the planet as well to hear the name. 10 cards are free, Pluto and Ceres are part of our membership program. Apollo 11 Story In our space module we also have 6 flash cards that tell the story of Apollo 11. These cards are very interactive, you can control the lunar lander and you can dock the command module with the lunar lander! Each card has an audio fact and text based fact. Shapes and Colors In our shapes and colors module, we have 10 fun cards with our mascot Auggie performing circus tricks with various different shapes. This week we hit our first sub goal of 25 individual members! This means we will start working on the first item on our Road Map. This means we will be adding our Planets and Shapes to the Create a flash card mode and Ground Plane! This is all thanks to your support! We are planning to release this new content in November! This week, Animal Alphabet hit a huge milestone of 1 million downloads! We are proud and humbled that so many people have downloaded AR Flashcards over the years. Thank you so much. In celebration of this huge milestone we have updated the app with a brand new create mode! With the create mode you can create your own flash cards! Draw your own or use existing cards. You can even augment books or whatever you can think of! You can choose from all 26 of our animals! This update also has bug fixes related to the new iOS 12 update, iPhone X, Xs and XsMax support, a new flashlight button to use your devices light to help illuminate dark areas to help with tracking. Our newest app, Abraham Lincoln is here! This is a free download for iOS that celebrates the life of Abraham Lincoln. In this first release you will learn about and visit historical places that Lincoln lived in as a child. There are 4 doorways that will take you to real places in Kentucky where he was born and for a $.99 in app purchase you can buy the next 5 doorways in Indiana where he spent much of his youth. You will also get an animated Lincoln reciting the Gettysburg Address for free! While this is still an AR Flashcards app you do not need to print anything! The ground is the flash card! You can set a full sized Lincoln on the floor and walk around him with your device. You can tap the audio button and listen to the Gettysburg address! You can also set doorways on the ground and walk through them and be transported to another place! You can look around with your phone and see real historical places from Kentucky and Indiana. You can also earn badges just by exploring the app! There are 4 badges to earn today with more coming throughout the year! We have a roadmap for adding new content throughout 2018. In May we will release the New Salem and Springfield packs which cover the middle portion of his life and then in September we will add the Washington DC pack. Hello! Today we are releasing AR Flashcards Space 2.0 on both the paid version ($2.99) and the Free Version! We have put a ton of effort into this update and we really think students will love learning about the Apollo 11 space program with our new interactive cards! We used authentic voice recordings from the mission for each card. This is our first app that also uses video in a fun way! Students can land the Lunar Module or dock the Command Module all in immersive augmented reality! If you already own the paid version of Space then this update is entirely free! If you have the free version (Now called AR Flashcards Space Lite) then we are offering all 8 new cards for $2.99 which is the price of the paid version in the store.
